Hello! I'm a Malaysian-Chinese currently based in Los Angeles and I'm super passionate about post-production. I've had the honor to work on some cool shows like "The Romantics" (which was a #1 trend on India's Netflix in Feb 2023), and "Through Our Eyes" (which got nominated for an Emmy in 2022). Right now, I'm working as an assistant editor at Jubilee Media and have helped edit over 10 different shows that have gained a total of 95 million views on YouTube!
My name is Jorge and I am from Arlington, Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at Emory University and have been working in the industry for the past 6 years. Having learned so much about production equipment and maintenance during my time at a production company in Atlanta, I’m looking forward to learning and hopefully mastering the post production side as well. I’m a big sports fan and love experiencing new foods so if you have any hot takes or food recommendations, I’m all ears!
My name is Joshua Figueroa and I'm a Guatemalan-American filmmaker and video editor who is grateful to have this opportunity. I am ready to apply myself and learn all about the AE workflow and expand my skillset while making new connections.
I am an extremely hard worker and have persevered some very traumatic events through my childhood up to my earlier years in college. Although working a full-time job at a Postal annex I still had set aside time and money to fund my filmmaking and film editing classes and continue working toward my goal of becoming a great film editor. I love the process of making films and the intricate challenges teams will occur and overcome to complete the vision of the director.
